I just finished watching the premiere of Walt Disney's Read It And Weep and suddenly, I had this urge of writing, or typing, AGAIN. The start of the scene was like that of my all-time favorite, Sex & The City. You know, a short narration as the camera finds its focus on the writer as she types more on her cool laptop. I would have felt the same setup tonight if I had my own desk...... But I'd say it's quite comfy indian-sittin' on our queen-size bed as I kinda mimic the scene. With my not-so-expensive laptop propped up on a cream-colored pillow (that says Creiton on it), I'd say I'm good to go...
HGTV is showin' another series of House Hunters; and that means one thing - there's a lot of buyers out there. If only I have the "talent" in real estate... or the time to build a circle of Virginian friends that may be prospective buyers... Well, I hardly found time to log in to Friendster, did I? Aside from my ever-growing tummy, my crampy legs are also making me weak and tired. All I wanna do is lie sideways on bed and eternally ask Lance to rub me all over until I blissfully fall asleep. I'm so getting used to this TLC that it's really gonna be a postpartum nightly regimen.
I'm reaching my third trimester on July 26. However, my OB-GYN said I'm already on my 28th or 29th weeks and 'some' days. See, this always cause me some confusion whenever someone asks. We totally have a different calendar! But, of course, I feel I'm more accurate than they are.
Oh, yes! It's a girl! Lance and I bet about it in the clinic beforehand. He won. But you know what? The truth is, I'd rather be pessimistic and be surprised at the end. After all, a baby girl is what I really wanted in the first place. I felt a girl would be 'easier' to take care of while growing up. Comparing to the tykes that came in occassionally in our home, those little boys ran faster and climbed the stairs every now and then. The only little girl among them merely ran behind, stood by the stairs and yelled. At least, it's easier to say hush or put my hand on her cutesy lil mouth. However, I know it's all gonna depend on her personality, of course. As what my boss had said one time... "You'll never know. You might end up with a tomboy, who'll wear caps and play baseball with the guys..." O-oh! Major oh-NO!!! GOD forbid!
Anyway... Lance and I have high hopes for our baby. We pray that she'll be a great child of God. Of course, that's what every parent wishes for...
