The other night, I saw Disney's Polar Express for the first time (towards the end, on tv). I was initially amazed by it 'cause it looked real. It was so wonderful to see another cartoon movie with almost-real characters (except for their eyes that kinda looked creepy). Hubby said they're real people acting but the computer changed the interface. I think they're drawings of real people and movements where taken from them. It's kinda like that skeleton dancing with the late Michael Jackson in one of his videos (forgot the title). Well, whatever.
I like the movie, Polar Express. Every song is so engaging that it makes me teary eyed whenever it plays. To me, nothing beats old traditional Christmas songs (except for Last Christmas, which I play different versions of). The child in me becomes alive once more . . . hoping I could also get onto that train ride to Santa Claus' Christmasland...
BELIEVE . . . as the child whispers. Then he begins to hear that one little sleigh bell ring. It is simply beautiful. I (want to) believe, too, so I can hear it . . . and see Santa as well... I'm still a child, especially on Christmas. The spirit fills me like no other season. I still Believe! I BELIEVE...!!!
I was able to watch Polar Express entirely on tv the next morning. Here it is on YouTube, too.
It's so much fun when Christmas comes to town . . . so hop onto The Polar Express...
Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all!!!
